Woopsie! (referred to as "we") respects and protects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the Woopsie! iOS app (the "App"). The App is available exclusively on the Apple App Store. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you have any questions, please contact us through the details at the end of this policy.
The App requires the following permissions, each of which can be turned off at any time in iOS Settings:

We use the collected information for the following purposes:
We only read Apple Health activity and heart rate data with your explicit permission, and we write walk workouts to Apple Health when you have authorized write access. Heart rate data from Apple Watch may originate from the device worn by the owner or attached to the pet; it is not exclusively pet heart rate. This data is used solely to calculate real-time exercise load (based on the distance goal you set) and to enable cross-device cloud sync; we do not analyze, share, or use it for any other purpose. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy > Health; after revocation, the App can no longer read or write related data.
Precise GPS location data recorded during walks is used only to generate walk route maps and calculate distance. We only record routes and do not analyze, use, or share your route data. Route data is stored on our servers and associated with your account. You can view or delete each walk record at any time. When you use the outdoor weather alert feature, your location is sent to Apple's weather service (Apple Weather, via WeatherKit) to obtain local weather; we only receive the weather result and do not store your real-time location track.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties and do not use your data for advertising. We may share your information only in the following circumstances: with your explicit consent; when required by law; to protect our or others' legitimate rights; or with trusted third parties that provide necessary services, as detailed below:

These third parties process relevant data independently within the scope of their services and are subject to their own privacy policies. We require cloud service providers to take reasonable security measures to protect your data.
The App uses Apple's StoreKit framework to process subscription payments; all payment information is handled directly by Apple, and we do not have access to your full payment information. Weather data is provided by Apple Weather (WeatherKit), and we do not warrant its accuracy. Apple Health data is managed by Apple and processed in accordance with Apple's privacy policy.
Your cloud data is stored on secure servers (located within the People's Republic of China). We use TLS encryption for data in transit, encrypt data at rest, and implement access controls and regular security reviews. Despite these measures, no internet transmission or electronic storage method is completely secure; please keep your login credentials safe.

You can delete individual walk records or pet profiles at any time; deletions are propagated to the cloud and other devices after sync. You can also delete your account in the "Me" section of the App, which removes all pet profiles, walk records, and associated cloud data. Data processing requests are generally completed within 30 days. Data required to be retained by law will be deleted after the statutory retention period.
You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal information, withdraw authorizations (such as health, location, and notification permissions), and deactivate your account. These rights can be exercised through in-app features or by contacting us.
GDPR rights (users in the EEA): access, rectification, erasure, data portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. You may exercise these rights via privacy@woopsie.app.
CCPA rights (users in California): the right to know, the right to delete, the right to opt out (we do not sell personal information), and the right to non-discrimination.
We will respond to requests promptly, generally within 30 days.
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected a child's information, we will delete it promptly.
Your cloud data is stored on servers within the People's Republic of China. When you use Apple sign-in, payments, push notifications, and weather services, relevant data is processed in accordance with each third-party service's mechanisms and may be transferred to the regions where they operate; please refer to the respective third-party privacy policies.
Material changes will be notified to you through in-app notices. Changes take effect upon publication. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
